Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday form three holy days in which we see Him suffer and die for our sins and for the sins of the world, and then we see Him rise triumphantly on Easter morning to assure us that our salvation is complete, the victory is won.  These three days are called the Paschal Triduum.  Paschal = Greek term for the Passover’s fulfillment in the resurrection; Triduum = Latin for “Three Days”.

This will be the first in a three-part course. Each “course” will be 5 sessions. They are for those desiring membership or those who wish to know more fully what Scripture says. Membership can be gained by completing the first two courses: 101: “Knowing” & 201: “Understanding.” The third course, “Living,” will discuss Christian living and a life within the church.

All members & friends of Faith are invited to attend a St. Valentine’s Day get together at Erika & Kevin Klahn’s home on February 10 from 6pm-10pm.

On Sunday, February 11 we will have a special opportunity during the Bible Class hour.  We will learn about the Divine Service and service opportunities in the Divine Service (altar guild, ushering, etc.).  The class is meant to give confirmation students a role in the service of the church, but is open to all.

On March 10, we will go bowling as a congregation at the Oregon Bowl from 3pm-6pm.
